Work-related injuries are a reality with literally every job or profession. Each year, more than 600,000 workers in the United States are injured on the job. These types of injuries are tremendously costly, not only in terms of direct expenses, but also in lost production and worker dissatisfaction.

The most common work place injuries today are musculoskeletal disorders known as repetitive stress injuries. These types of injuries are also often referred to as occupational overuse injuries or cumulative trauma disorders.

Some of the common work-related musculoskeletal disorders that have been linked to work habits or environment include carpal tunnel syndrome, tenosynovitis, tension neck syndrome, and low back pain.
